About this show:
This is one of my all time favorite sets of music by any band at any time and of course my favorite moe. show ever
About this DAT:
This is a DAT (1) made for me by ev off the master not long after the show happened, likely Summer 1996. I have memory of him getting ahold of the master either directly or indirectly, as everyone was really excited about this show as communicated and reviewed by Wakeme who attended. ev transferred his DAT (1) back on 3/1/2005 and uploaded it to the LMA in 44.1khz resampled format as the only source of this show to ever circulate. His transfer has over 10,000 downloads and 15,000 views as of this posting. This fileset is the first time the original 48khz files have been shared in FLAC, tagged, and level adjusted format
About the track splits:
As you will see vs the original transfer from 2005, e and I vary a little on the track splits. You will see I took from BYD, added to CIA and Timmy. He would get a chuckle out of me telling him he was wrong and have something snarky and witty to say.

- Unknown location for this rig. Could be FOB but cannot confirm. There is a tape of 9/20 with same mics and jcard that lists as ORTF FOB.
Left channel is consistently sightly stronger than the right channel which could possibly mean an LOC/ORTF/FOB configuration that was not compensated for

Rock The Vote 1996 4 night run in Northampton, Albany, Buffalo and Syracuse featured moe., Moon Boot Lover, Ominous Seapods and Yolk.
The Rock The Vote shows featured one set by each band with full band segues. As one band finished up, they would go into a jam during the last song of their set as one by one, members of the next band would come onto stage and jump into the jam. Members of the exiting band would leave one by one also during this transition resulting in a full band segue. As the new band was fully onstage, they would segue the jam into the first song of their set.
A wonderful of example of this takes place on this recording as a blissful transition jam ensues resulting into the Seapods once fully in place, launching into their hit Bong Hits and Porn.
I patched the board with my main deck this night, a Tascam DA-P1 which featured FOH Brendan O’Neill running a SBD/AUD mix. This recording was transferred by Gil over a decade ago and is available on the Live Music Archive. At some point I will likely pull a fresh 48k of this master source.
Notes:
- set fades out as the Seapods get ready to start the second tune of their set
- thanks to the now defunct moelinks.com for the ever reliable setlist notes
